Our New Home!

The movers arrived April 28 with our furniture and boxes.  No way we had that much at our old place!  My cousin, his wife, and her mom came to help that day which was a huge blessing!  They helped unpack most of the kitchen boxes, and played with Isla so I could direct the movers.  My cousin, Josh, is a baby-whisperer, folks!  In the midst of all the moving noise, in and out, and everything, he managed to get Isla to nap twice!  What a life-saver!  

The picture below was taken after everyone had left that day.  It was just Isla and me (and Eric in spirit) in our new home for the first time.  I had hoped to capture more of the front of the house.  Now you have a clear expectation of the top left corner of our front door.  

Here, Isla is eating lunch.  Cucumbers and meatballs.  

And here we are at the park.  We have such a nice little park within a 5 minute walk of our house.  Isla loves to go and watch the other kiddos playing!
